My Evil Twin: A Worthy Nemsesis

My Evil Twin has proven to be a worthy nemesis, as he and I, for the seventh semester in a row, share a class together. This time, it's CS 188.

I wonder if he's noticed this yet?

And no, I still haven't talked to him. Nor do I have plans to. What would I say?

"Stop following me taking my classes you adjective noun!"?

Oh, wait, I've got it! on the last day of class next semester (assuming he doesn't spoil the streak), I can say "So, we meet again, for the first time, for the last time!"

And that'll be that.

My Evil Twin Came Back

Ach! My evil twin is back in Berkeley! I saw him today while walking home from work, and I watched him intently as we walked towards each other, and then we passed without a word.

The Kitchen Synch

Today I went to Toys 'R Us in Emeryville to see about getting a LEGO Battle Droid. On the way back, I was talking to Alert about the inclusion of Brian Boitano in South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut. I said something along the lines of "They'd already included everything but the kitchen sink in the movie, and so they included Brian Boitano as the kitchen sink." It was at this point that Alert noticed that the bus was driving past a fenced lot which was full of kitchen sinks. It was very very strange. There were several bathtubs in the lot, too.

The Price Came Back

Yesterday, before my CogSci midterm in Dwinelle, I saw Heidi sitting in one of the classrooms. Heidi is from Bakersfield, too, and we went to Junior High together (way back in the day), and I hadn't seen her since she moved out of Foothill after the fall semester of 1998. That's all fine and dandy, but then right before MCB I went to Wheeler to buy a soda, and on my way up the stairs from the Soda machine I ran into Heidi again. Twice in four hours after not at all in more than a year.

Seth St. Martin

Yesterday (still Friday), I got the information from Housing telling me who my roommate is to be for the next year. I didn't call him immediately, as I was doing various things, and my dad kept using the phone. Eventually he called me. His name is Seth, he's from Sacramento, he's in the College of Chemistry, and he seems like a plenty nice guy. Conveniently enough, he said he had a Microwave he could bring, but we've decided to hold off and see if there is a Microwave we can leach off of there, first. But he has a compaq... And I sort of kind of offered to make it work before I knew that. Oh boy. But I'll do it, because, if nothing else, it's my job =)
