An unexpected turn of events found me at a table at Blake's with calstuff and praglib tonight. Though I've never read either of them at length, they were both nice in person. Ah, small worlds, and friends of friends, and all that. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to sleep.

So my Linguistics final called for us to give an example of a superordinate category, a non-prototypical item from the basic level category under that superordinate, and an ideal case subordinate of that basic level category.
The example I came up with was Beverages, Alcoholic Beverages, and Guinness.
Alert's example was Modes of Transportation, Snowboards, and the Burton BMC.
